Dear Blog(Violet edition),

What an amazing week it has been.  Our newest edition Violet has truly completed our family.  I am just amazed every time at how instantly I fall in love with each of our children.  Violet is truly a JOY.  I love her little face, I love to kiss her little nose and love to tickle her little feet.  So far we feel so blessed to have another amazing baby.  The day she was born ended up being a lot longer than I thought.  I think back to how much I wanted to meet her.  I just wanted her to come out so that I could see this face that I couldn't stop thinking about.  When the time finally came for her to officially enter our lives I looked at her face as they put her on my chest and I felt an over-whelming feeling of peace.  I knew she was suppose to be here.  I knew with my whole heart that Violet was meant to be part of our family, and that she has been meant to come to our family from the beginning.  I looked at her and all the awfulness of 40 weeks of pregnancy and days of laboring melted away.  She was perfect, she was special and she was all ours. 

As the week has progressed and any sleep has ended, I am still so happy.  I can't help it.  I am so happy.  I have aches, pains and frankly a lot of issues we will not discuss BUT...I am so HAPPY!!!  Last night as I sat there nursing our little Violet, I looked over at my sweet husband who was sleeping(he went to sleep after he got Violet and changed her diaper for me) and I felt pure gratitude for the blessings in my life.  Our life is not perfect, no ones is.  But one thing is we are perfect for each other and we make some PERFECTLY adorable children.  If you need more proof...

The answer is "NO" you can't have her :-).

The biggest JOY is knowing that our girls each have 3 sisters that they will have fun, laughs, fights and never ending love with.  So over-all week 1 of Violet's life...amazing...
