Miracles do happen!

I think I can safely skip ahead over talking about how sick I have been and go straight to the miracle.  Yesterday I woke up and I felt pretty good.  I kept going through out the day and still felt pretty good.  I decided that these moments are few and far between and so I called Moroni and we decided to take Ellie and Savannah to their first movie...Toy Story 3.
Here they are in front of the poster.  They were so excited that when I told them what we were doing they both jumped up and down and Ellie almost started to cry.
Look I'm out of the house:).  It was so fun to be with our girls and my honey.  They kept asking if I was sure I felt up to going?  I have the sweetest kids.
My kids have the best Dad!!  He spoils all of his girls.
We had such a good time.  Thank you to my awesome parents who watched Madelyn for us very last minute.  I think we each had a very good day.  By the end of the movie however, both Moroni and I each had a pretty little girl sitting in our lap.  Some parts really were a little to scary.  Over-all though we have some really great memories!!

So long theatre.  We will see you again next time...

Remember when I said I like surprises??

So a few months back I did a whole post about the fact that I love surprises.  I talked about a great birthday I had, a perfect proposal, shopping and some amazing Godiva Chocolate Cheese cake.  Well, sometimes surprises come in the form of a piece of white plastic with two bright blue lines on it.  SURPRISE, your pregnant!  There are some similarities between the two surprises.  One, like eating the Godiva Cheesecake this one will also make you gain weight.  Two, like a great birthday party this one may gain me a few presents.  Three, like our proposal when I found out about this surprise Moroni was also on one knee but this time he was checking on his wife while she was hyperventilating.  Four, I get very hysterical and a little nuts when I go shopping.  Just like how hysterical I was the whole day and weeks after we found out.

So I guess the thing you can always say about me is I am consistent:).

Welcome to our family baby number four!!

What's up with the power of Mint??

During quiet time yesterday Ellie and Savannah were playing a card game in the office and I was sitting on the couch enjoying a little ice cream.  Savannah all of a sudden came out of the office walked over to me and said "Mommy, I just want to give you a hug and a kiss."  I thought it was so sweet.  She walked away started to crack the door shut and I hear "ELLIE, I GOT TO SEE THE MINT ICE CREAM...I SAW IT!!!"

I guess all around it was a sweet moment. :)

"Baby" is 2!!!

If you ask our youngest what her name is she will respond simply "Baby."  She knows who the rest of her family is.  However, every time with out fail when we get to her..."Baby."  Well, this Baby of ours AKA Madelyn turned 2 today!  I still can't believe it was two years ago.  Time has truly flown since she was born.  I feel like I blink and there goes another year.  Madelyn(baby) just gets more beautiful inside and out everyday.  She makes everyone around her smile.  She is funny, talkative and loves her sisters.  Most of all I look at her and realize she was worth every day of sickness, every pound gained and every horrible stage of recovery I had after I had her.
I'm 2!!!
All my family came to the water party!
"Baby" on the swings with her cousin Rachel
We all enjoyed PIZZA!
Madelyn and her cake...I know not my best work:)
I know...how does she keep getting cuter??
She loves cake.  I told her we were going to go eat cake and she jumped up and ran to the kitchen.
Madelyn with Mana and Papa.  She just loves her family.

We love you so much Madelyn and we're all better because your a part of our family.
Happy Birthday "Baby."

Who says you need to be well to have fun??

This past weekend was spent with two very sick Mama's, 2 over-worked Dads, and five kids loving every minute of it!!  We had our dear friends the Kochs in for the weekend and as always it did not disappoint.  Kristen and I of course were so under the weather that we spent four days on the couch's.  Oh how we wished for the outside!! Moroni and Ryan spent their time serving us and keeping the keeps happy.  The kids just loved having someone to play with 24-7(even though they always have a sibling to play with...I guess it's just not the same).
Here are the four girls in their matching 4th of July dresses.

Tyler with the girls.  So cute!

Madelyn didn't like being left out of the last picture.
What's summer without a....
Slip and Slide??
Savannah would run up to the slide, stop and push herself down on her knees.  It was hilarious.

Over all it was a fun weekend and I don't know when I will fully recover:).  Thank you wonderful friends for a great visit...we love you!!
