I know, I know, I know...

...it's been forever!
Long story short, my computer currently is taking a vacation and so I am borrowing one from someone that loves me.  We have some catching up to do.  Here goes...

We are enjoying trying new things on the weekends.  We found a great library, great park and a great walk around the river.
You know how we love to pose!

Violet starting sitting up all by herself.  She was a little over 6 months!!  Today she is 7 months!!!

Moroni's Birthday!!!  Below is when we went to the zoo to celebrate and we "shared" slushies.

Violet kind of wanted some. :)

Violet ate her first food with out having an allergic reaction.  She really enjoyed her organic squish!

Next came the moment we have all been waiting for...the famous amusement park where every ride is a quarter.  It was so fun and the best part was the fact that our dear friends came for a visit!  We love you Amy and family!!

That has been our life for the last few weeks.  We are truly finding so many wonderful people and wonderful memories in our new home.  Also, did you know how great hobby lobby is?  ;-)

NEW zoo

As we settle into our new life, we are enjoying some visitors...

and a "NEW" zoo.  It was so fun to go and be together as a family in the middle of the week.  We got to explore, learn and be outdoors.  It was so much fun.

It starts with warm weather, water, sunscreen and a bathing suit.

It starts when someone listens and loves you for who you are and brings joy in every step they walk.  Thank you Keri.

It starts with the birth of someone new and with a friendship that lasts.  Love you Erica and family.

It starts when you know someone knows you better than you know yourself and loves you even more for it.  It starts when you know that relationship will truly last forever no matter the distance.  Thank you Heidi and family.  Love you.

It starts with a friend, service and food.  Thank you Jenna.

It starts when you know that nothing is truly ever an ending.  But a beginning.

"It wasn't a little fun. It was A LOT of fun!!!!!!!!!!!"

For years we have lived by the most beautiful lake and beach and until yesterday we had not gone there to enjoy it.  Luckily with great friends in toe, we made it happen and it was completely worth every bit of sand, laundry and sun-burn that will come with it.  It was truly beautiful.  At one point while we were swimming around I stopped and looked around at the magnificence of the this world and I had a moment of gratitude to our Heavenly Father for gifts such as these.

Pictures truly do not do is "Justus".  Pun intended.
Lara, Ellie and Jason.  Those three had way too much fun!
Max and Savannah.  BFF's.  Also Savannah did an amazing job swimming. I think we might have a true swimmer on our hands.  It's hard to believe just last year she didn't even want to go in the water.
Lara was helping Ellie learn how to dive in the water.  It was so cute to watch.
Madelyn thinks Eric is so cool.  When ever we go over to their house for a play date, she always asks if Eric will be there?  The funny part is when she sees him she barely says hi.  Girls...what to do with them?
The picture says it all ;-).
Heidi and Molly.  Molly had a fun time with Violet.  She just loved seeing how she was doing.  Heidi, I think Molly will make a really good big Sister.  LOL!
Jason had the coolest goggles.  We were informed when we got home that our two older girls wanted the same ones Jason had. Apparently now I have to go to Wal-Mart.
Violet did so well.  Moroni and I took turns holding her.  The kids loved it when I was holding her because than the "fun one" got to be the diving board so the kids could jump off him.  I wish I could inform the girls that there was a time that I was considered more fun than their Dad.
I'm not a fan of pictures of me in a swim suit.  So much to the point that when my dear friend Heidi tried to take one of me I dove in the water.  However this one of Maddie and Me is pretty darn cute!

A perfect pose to end our perfect day.  So long amazing beach.  Until next time...

Two words: Peanut Butter

To fall in love with something truly takes time.  That was not the case however for me and peanut butter.  I love peanut butter. You're probably wondering why I feel the need to express my love for peanut butter?  7 1/2 years ago we were blessed with the reason why.  Ellie.  Ellie is allergic to peanuts.  Her allergy is so severe that we do not even have peanuts in the house.  So my love of peanut butter has been sacrificed for my love for our Ellie(totally worth it BTW).  A few years back however I met another peanut free household.  Eric, Heidi and their family are wonderful friends to have and it's nice to share this with someone even though you would never wish anyone to join this club.  As Heidi and I sat at a playgroup almost 4 years ago we were sharing with everyone what we missed most about Peanuts.  After hearing us whine for a good half an hour someone said we should have a peanut butter party at one of their houses and that way we could eat as much as we wanted.  We have come to do this party ever since and just yesterday we had our fourth annual peanut butter party.  It was fitting to have this party the week before we leave all these wonderful friends...
Heidi, me and our amazing host Kristina.
Yes, this is the table of never ending peanut goodies.  My stomach hurts just looking at it ;).
More wonderful friends.  Also, Jenna(the one with the grey shirt on the end) made me the most amazing necklace and earring set, which I am wearing.  THANK YOU Jenna for being reason #97 why I love it here.
I made them stop eating to take a photo.  I am so mean.
Talking and eating.  What is better than that?
Me and Heidi really enjoyed our peanut full night.  I still think my favorite part was when Heidi showed up wearing my soccer pin from Middle school.  It was pretty hilarious to see everyone try to figure out who was on her shirt.  What am I going to do with out her and peanuts?
