Well, never say I didn't warn you!

It has come to my attention that I have been neglecting something that use to be quite important to me.  I use to spend many hours doing it and many hours just thinking about it.  The object in question...eating CHOCOLATE.  What did you think it was?  Oh, my blog?  I guess I haven't been doing that much lately either.  :)

Seriously though, this is not me making a promise that my blog will all of a sudden contain pages of new material or endless pictures.  This is my promise however that I did not forgot about this long lost love and if I ever own my own computer again, I will faithfully return to this once fun past time.  Until then I only promise a glimpse here and there.

This weeks glimpse...

Moroni is starting to win the battle of Violet's heart.  I really thought this kid was 100% in Mommy camp.  But alas, Moroni truly has a gift.

I turned 31 this past week.  I have truly enjoyed the last 31 years of my life and I hope I pray I get many more.  I loved the fact that on this Birthday I got to spend time with our family, a few friends and best of all I was not pregnant or nursing.  It was truly a glorious day.  Thanks Mom and Dad for bringing me into this world.  Moroni especially is grateful.

Tune into our next installment of The Captain and his Angels.

All things Easter!

Happy Easter!  What a great day to remember Jesus Christ and to be together as a family.  Our girls also get to enjoy the fact that the Easter bunny visits our home.  They thought their baskets were pretty cool.  They also thought is was funny that the Easter Bunny knew their shoe sizes.

Poor Violet was sick with a fever and ear infection.  She wasn't as excited about Easter as the rest of the girls.  She didn't even get to wear her Easter dress to church.

Maddie and her goodies.

Savannah was a happy girl.

Ellie loved her jump rope.

The tradition in our home is to get a new Easter dress every year.  This year I decided to also make each of the girls matching hair pretties that perfectly go with their dresses.  They were a pretty big hit!

Maddie and Violet got the yellow dresses.  When Violet feels better she is going to love to match her big Sister.

Savannah LOVES a new dress.  Dresses are her favorite.

Ellie is truly starting to look so grown up.  She is so beautiful.

We are so grateful to celebrate another Easter, to have great family, for healing medicine and for great sales on cute dresses.  Pure joys of life.

I know I know I know...

Life. Is. Good.

Ellie turns...8!!  8 Truly is great!!

Ellie gets baptized.  We are so proud of her and the choices she makes.  It was such a special day and filled with so much joy!!  We love you, Ellie.

Just us girls taking a break in Mommy's bed.

Violet turns 1!!!!!!!!!!!  One year ago, she stole a piece of our hearts.  I am truly happy to never get that piece back.  Love you sweet Violet.

Girl scout Father/Daughter dance.  Daddy got to take his Daisey and Brownie.(See Savannah's pic at the beginning of blog)

Savannah is 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Where is the time going?  Our beautiful blue-eyed girl is now more than one hand.  Savannah and Mommy got to go on a date the day of her Birthday.  It was WONDERFUL!  She however did not love it when people make her the center of attention and sing to her for all the restaurant to hear.  I think next time we will just take dessert with out the song. ;)

Sometimes you just need to stop and smell the roses...

Thank you early Spring and THANK YOU to Heavenly Father above for the great life we have.

Here's hoping we can slow down and blog more. ;-)

Back by popular demand!

Time has been flying by at such a rate that I have not even touched my blog in almost two months.  So back by popular demand.  This has been our life for the past 7 weeks...
Moroni and I were blessed with something that was on my bucket list. Going to a professional football game(not on a Sunday).  It was A-MAZING!  Thank you Mom and Dad for driving all the way up here to watch our kids so we could go.

So fun!!
We got to be a part of this cool half time event for all the veterans.

Next came a great VACATION down to visit our best friends and family.  First was "how do you spell fun" AKA our best buddies the Kochs.

Me and "Friend."
Two peas in a pod.

The four of us went on a double date to the best place I know to go on one.  The Temple in Louisville, KY.  It was so wonderful to be able to do this with our dear friends.

BFFs!!!!  Love her!!

Next came the fun in TN with cousins and family.  I seriously do not think people are allowed to have as much fun as we did this week.
COUSINS!!!
Papa and Violet.

"Aunt Mandy you are so funny!!"
Two girl cousins bonding.
Moroni and our niece Brittany.  She is an AMAZING artist and made each of the girls their very own duct tape purse.  So cute.
My buddy and Me!
My brother "Tomy." LOL!(inside joke)
What a good looking group.  Our girls had so much fun with their cousins.
Family time.
Great Mana Melba, Moroni and Violet.  Violet can tell this is one sassy lady.
Doesn't Savannah look cute?!
BEST SURPRISE of the week!!  My favorite little Brother John and his awesome wife Claire came with their son "B" to visit and totally surprised Moroni and I.  We love them and miss them so much and it was amazing to spend time with them.  Rapter-dandy...classic(again, inside joke).
4 out of the 7 isn't too bad!  Great job Mom and Dad.
Claire and Me.  I love the family I got when I married Moroni.  Such an amazing bonus.
Back with the Kochs for one last night.  Again, stayed up way too late, laughed way too hard and of course ate way too many "yeyo grapss."(sorry...inside joke again).

It's about that time to bust out the tree and start enjoying the holidays.

We love decorating the tree and listening to sweet Christmas music.  It really does make you remember the whole reason for the season.

Violet is growing so big.  She is so sweet and so fun.  We all feel so much joy just having her as a part of our family.

LOVE HER!!!

Next came our Christmas SURPRISE for the girls... we stayed at a hotel with an indoor water park.  The girls had so much fun.  It was so fun to be in your swimsuit in December

CHRISTMAS!!  What a great day.  The night of when we were all throwing up all night long we could of done with out.  But all the fun and family time during the day, was wonderful.
The best present I got in 2011.
Cousins with Auntie Mar.
My parents make some good looking kids ;-).
I love my family and I'm sad this picture is so fuzzy!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, from our family to yours.  Love you all!
